"Season does not matter, just about anything and everything fts
there whether it be Fernando's Fat Lady or George Condo's Miles Davis
to Igor Ustinov's gigantic whale or Nikolai Winter's wrapped pieces
or Alexander Calder's The Big One or my forthcoming sculptures from
Robert Klippel," explained Ms. Kracht.
"After 11 shows, I know that art successfully thrives in this park and
one simply has to come to Talstrasse 1 to enjoy it!" said Ms. Kracht,
referring to the hotel's distinguished address. "It is there to be enjoyed
by everyone, from the young to the old, rich or poor, rain or shine!"
The garden will be showcasing works by Klippel, the legendary
Australian sculptor, until August 7. His work was installed on June 9 to
serve as a destination for international collectors attending Art Basel.
Art-In-The-Park-XI is conducted in collaboration with Zürich's Galerie
Gmurzynska.
